Why You Must Strive for 2000 Followers on Twitter as a Primary Goal
If you don’t already have 2000 people subsequent you on Twitter, that should be your fundamental focus until you have exceeded the 2000 mark. Get there as quick as possible now so that you don’t have to worry about it later. Why is this so vital?
* You’ll be judged by your number of followers – I wish it didn’t happen that way but it does. They will look into your profile later and likely unfollow you if you look like you’re just early out with 100 or less followers.
* Twitter constraints – Twitter requires that you buy 2000 followers before they let you follow more than 2000 people. Twitter does this to prevent people from abusing the system as it’s simple to just click the “follow” button over and over again in hopes people will follow you in return. I’m was guilty of it too when I started using Twitter.
* Proof of higher stature – One of the fantastic uses of Twitter is to follow people you admire. But, if you follow someone with 50,000 followers, you probably won’t get much notice or attention when you have only 100 or 200
followers. Right, you force get the follow out of it, but automatic subsequent of new followers is a common setting among power Tweeters so don’t get too excited.
* Higher return – Look for 1 or 2 clickthroughs per Tweet where you supply a link to another Web page. Every Tweet where you feature a link to a Web site or article will start considering 15, 20, or even 50 or more clickthrouughs (yes, per Tweet) depending on the quality of what you’re tweeting about..
* Incentive – When you see that 2000 follower goal draw near, with results improving, doubling your Tweets will be a welcome task. This increase in your participation will be a welcome to your 2000 or more followers.
If you have less than 500 Twitter followers now, you probably feel like you’re just wasting time. But, when you get over the plateau of 1000 followers, you start to see your efforts pay off. Your Twitter efforts start to pay off as your traffic builds and new contacts are made.
If you have less than 2000 Twitter followers, take the challenge right now to renovate a plot to get 2000 and more followers on Twitter.
