I havea website that is physically hosted through a US server, is there any way that I can tell webmaster tools that my site is a UK business. The extension is a .co.uk, i’m concerned that the physical IP address will harm my SEO potential within Google.co.uk as geolocation is widely considered as one of the relevancy ranking factors.

- Google knows this when google analytics code is installed
- Others know this via SEO tools such as Alexa

And else, they can also count clicks, so, how many people clicked on the link in a google search.

And last but not least, depending on where your site is hosted your supplier may deliver the information, e.g. Blogging services tend to do that (and often include google code in the page)
